Gas cylinders are color coded by law in the United States, however some colors duplicate because the color coding shows more the level of flamability. Food Grade grade CO2 tanks are unfinished aluminum (Silver). Food Grade Nitrogen comes in Black cylinder tanks. Medical Grade Nitrogen comes in stainless steel cylinders. Argon comes in Green cylinders or stainless steel with a green band. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL ON THE TANK.
NEVER USE ANY COMPRESSED GAS CYLINDER THAT IS ORANGE, YELLOW, BROWN OR RED. Be sure to tell your gas supplier, particularly if you are purchasing from a welding gas supplier that what you need will be used in food processing.
NITROGEN/ARGON DISPENSE REGULATOR
CXTC DISPENSE REGULATOR PACK ASSEMBLED WITH HOSES AND PORT CONNECTORS FOR OUR BALL LOCK "KEG" TANKS.
THE CO2 TANK NOT INCLUDED.
Assembled push-gas kit. Pushing with gas is superior to pouring or pumping because the nicotine is never "churned" with pump cavitation or poured through air, which can cause oxidation-like reaction to begin. "Pushing" with Nitrogen gas also insures that the remaining tank balance is always shielded from oxygen and will stay fresh for several years. Shelf life with Argon much greater and actully unknown because we have been testing a nicotine tank for six (6) years now and it is still as fresh as the day it was made.
We typically recommend medical grade Nitrigen and Argon/Argon 5 (Medical/Pharmaceutical) as a push gas because both of these gases allow for storage periods in excess of three years. If however it is known that the tank will be emptied within three (3) months, CO2 works just fine and costs slightly less. If more than three months, while not affecting the flavor of the product, CO2 will "yellow" tint the product.

BY LAW AND FOR SAFETY REASONS CXTC CANNOT SHIP FILLED CO2 CYLINDERS. Every city in the United States has gas service from companies that have the special equipment and knowledge to handle and deliver these highly pressurized vessels. We recommend AIRGAS, AirLiquide or PRAXAIR, however many welding supply companies carry medical and food grade gasses.
One 20 lb. CO2 cylinder dispenses approximately 1420 liters of nicotine.
Purchasing in tanks saves approximately $15.00 per liter. Including the relatively low cost of the gas this dispense pack pays for itself after just one tank has been dispensed and the shelf life of your final product is extended to years, not months.
CXTC Dispense pack will pour into any measuring beaker or can be directly conneted to any automated mixing system you may have, allowing e-liquid blending under a blanket of CO2 in sealed tanks meeting upcoming FDA Laboratory Regulations.
